Knute Paulson homesteaded in the Vinland area sometime before 1880. Later, Knute sold 10 acres of his homestead to buy a wedding ring for his future wife, Sigrid. Knute was born in Norway on (?) and lived until 1936. Sigrid was born in Norway on June 23, 1866 and lived to be 87 years old. After Knute's death, Sigrid moved from Vinland to Poulsbo. Paul and Tilda, preceded Sigrid in death. |

Ole Bernard Paulson
Ole was born in Poulsbo, March 14, 1905 and lived to be 78 years old. He worked at the Hostmark & Borgen grocery and Borg's grocery stores in Poulsbo. Later he was employed at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and then as the Chief Quartermaster of the Naval Ammunition Depot where he retired in 1960. He and his wife Eva moved to Vista, California where they spent their retirement years.

Paul was born in (?) in Poulsbo. Paul
married his wife Olive in (?). Paul and Olive had three children: Mary
Ann Paulson Daily of Poulsbo, Wes Paulson of Kent, and Harold
Paulson of Poulsbo. Paul died young in 1946.
